Lane Snook is a Multi-Track Maverick in Late Models, Mauer defeats the Guys for Career 1st 270 Victory.

Mill Hall; PA – On Tuesday night during a special mid-week fair race, Mifflintown’s Lane Snook earned his 13th Limited Late victory of the season, his first at Clinton County, but his seventh different racetrack this year. Jillian Maurer topped the guys to earn her first career checkered flag in the 270 Micros, while AJ Hoffman won the Pro Stocks and Larry Beachel won the 4-Cylinders.

“Lighten Lane Snook” was quick all night from the time they unloaded the #23 car. Snook started alongside Cody Lear for the drop of the green flag. The two drivers won their respective heat races and were set to battle it out for the 25 lap main event. Snook took the lead while Lear battled with third place starter George Dixson. On lap number two, Andrew Yoder spun to bring out the caution flag. On the restart, Dixon was able to secure the second postion, but Lear took it back on lap six.

By lap ten, Snook was leading, Lear, Dixson, Joe Lusk, and Jim Yoder. Snook continued his blistering pace and had a sizeable lead over Lear. However, with that pace he was quickly approaching lapped traffic. A lap 12 caution gave Snook an open track once again and when the green flag waved, he again tried to distance himself from Lear. Lear started to close in on the leader, as Snook once again caught the rear of the field and he began to maneuver through lapped traffic. The slower cars forced Snook to change his approach which put Lear in a postion to attempt to make a bid for the lead. As the leaders came to start finish line, Snook passed a lapped car on the inside, and Lear decided to go to the outside for the possible move to win the race. However, there was not enough room and Lear’s car tangled with the lapped car and hit the front stretch wall ending his run for the night. With three laps remaining, Snook led Dixson, Lusk, Jim Yoder and Andrew Yoder to the green flag. Andrew Yoder passed Jim Yoder with two laps remaining. Snook raced to the win over Dixson, Lusk, Anderw Yoder and Jim Yoder. Sixth through tenth were Lucas Adams, Matt Murphy, Kaiden Bard, Jennifer Lesher, and Nick Bottecher. Heat races were won by Snook and Lear.

Jillian Maurer started on the pole for the start of the 270 Micro Sprint feature event and led the first lap with Michael Petock, Nathan Bacon, Tyler Clowes and Mac Wert running in the top five. By the completion of the fifth lap, Ross Perchak, who started tenth, crept into the top five. Jeffrey Weaver worked his way up through the field, secured the third postion by lap number eight and took over second by lap nine. Mauer continued to lead with Weaver and Perchak quickly gaining on her. With one lap remaining, the caution came out, putting two of the region’s top 270 micro sprint drivers on her rear bumper for the restart. Maurer flawless restarted the race and hit her marks for entry and exit of the turns to claim her first career victory. Weaver finished second, Perchak was third followed by Petock and Mason McAndrew. Sixth through tenth were Quinn Roberts, Wert, Ben Stolz, Cory Stabley and Andrew Petock. Heats were won by Logan Hammaker and Ross Perchak

Lock Haven’s Denny Fourney led the opening lap of the Pro Stock feature event. A lap two caution collected Cory Long, Rich Fye and Tommy Dawson while running in the top five. With the restart, AJ Hoffman powered around Fourney to take the lead by the completion of the next circuit. Hoffman continued to pace the field, with Fourney, AY Schilling, Larry Knight, and Nate Stroup in the top five. Hoffman continued to lead the remaining laps to earn his second victory of the season over Fourney, Schilling, Knight and Ronnie Ergott. Sixth through tenth were Nate Stroup, Jim Farnley, Jesse Farley, Kris Orwig, and Cory Long. Heat races were won by Fourney and Hoffman

Garrett Lucas took the lead of the Four Cylinder main event at the drop of the green flag, by the completion of lap number five, Larry Beachel made a pass for the lead with Scott Englert following in his tire tracks, shuffling Lucas back to third. The top three remained in that order until the checkered flag waved. Coty Maines finished fourth and Conner Cupp was fifth. Sixth through tenth were Terry Karichner, Kevin Trimpey, Toy Bennett, Cody While and Zak Kline Heats were won by Kline and Justin Williamson
