Rain Forces Clinton County Officials to Cancel
Mill Hall, PA – Clinton County Speedway officials made the decision to cancel the Friday, May 28th event when it started to rain mid-afternoon on Friday. The extended forecast for the remainder of the evening also predicted continued rain throughout the night.
As a result, the speedway will focus on the upcoming show on Friday, June 4th. Werner Fuels of Paxinos will present a 5 division racing program featuring the Race Saver Sprint Cars, Pro Stocks, 270 Micro Sprints, 600 Micro Sprints, and the 4 Cylinder Stock Cars. Gates will open at 5PM, hot-laps are at 7PM and racing begins at 7:30PM.
So far this season, the current championship point leaders are as follows: Garrett Bard of Wells Tannery leads the RaceSaver Sprint Cars, Andrew Yoder of Middleburg leads the Limited Late Models, Brandon Moser of Millerstown leads the Pro Stocks, Johnny Smith of Scranton leads the 600 Micro Sprints, Jeffrey Weaver of Lock Haven leads the 270 Micro Sprints, and Blake Snyder of Montgomery leads the 4 Cylinder Stock Cars.
