Mill Hall, PA – Jared Zionkowski fought his way through the field on Friday night to make a at pass with four laps remaining to claim his first checkered flag at the Clinton County Speedway.  Brandon Moser claimed his first Pro Stock win while Jeffrey Weaver of Lock Haven was victorious in the 270 and 600 Micro Sprint divisions and Maddox Smith was the winner in the Four Cylinder division.

Reed Thompson and Ian Cumens lead the field of Sprint Cars to the green flag for the start of the 25 laps main event.  Thompson took the lead with Cumens, Josh Beamer, and Garret Bard and Zionkowski in pursuit.  Thompson began to enter lapped traffic on lap number 10.  Cumens tried several times to get around Thompson and was able to make the pass on lap number fifteen.  Zionkowski, who started seventh, moved into the runner up position on lap number nineteen, with Thomson, Beamer and Lutz running in the top five.   Using the high groove of the speedway Zionkowski fought at hard battle with Cumens.  With four laps to go, Zionkowski made his moved and passed Thompson for the lead.  Zionkowski took the checkered flag over Thompson, Cumens Scott Lutz, and Ryan Lynn.  Sixth through tenth were Josh Beamer, Tyler Cochran, Garrett Bard, Dakota Schweikart and Dylan Proctor. Heat Races were won by Zionkowski and Lutz,

Brandon Moser advanced from this fourth starting spot and took the lead on the initial lap of the 15 lap Pro Stock feature.   Moser who had been close several times this season to securing a victory, dominated this event.   While Moser was extending his lead half a straight away, Bradley Benton, Robert Tressler, John Bouse and Noah Jenson were racing hard for the runner up position.   As Moser began to enter lapped traffic, Robert Tressler hit the wall and brought out the caution on lap number 13.  Moser held off any challenges for the final to two laps to win over Benton, Bouse, Jensen and Rich Fye.  Sixth through tenth were Kevin VanAmburg, Tommy Dawson, AY Schilling, Mark Bitler and Rooster Peters.  Qualifiers were won by Bouse and Tressler.

Logan Hammaker lead the opening lap of the 270 Micro Sprint feature event.  On the next circuit, Hammaker car spins and collects one other car to bring out the caution flag.   Ethan Spotts inherited the lead with Denny Rinehimer, Cameron Smith, Jeffrey Weaver and Timmy Bittner in the top five for the restart.   On lap number nine, Spotts and Rinehimer get together forcing Spotts to roll onto his side and brining out the red flag.  Lock Haven’s Jeffrey Weaver, who started nineth, inherited the lead with Smith Bitner, Kyle Stahl and Hammaker in the top five.   Weaver charged to the victory with Bitner, Smith, Stahl and Hammaker in the top five.  Sixth through tenth were Bobby Sando, Rinehimer, Mitchell Holden, Hunter Zimmerman, and Skyler Granger.  Heat race winners were Bitner and Weaver.

In the 600 Micro Sprints, Weaver led every lap to claim the victory.   The event went non-stop with Weaver’s quickest time being on lap number 5 with a 14.674 second lap.  Cody Hauck tried chase down Weaver but had to settle for second.  John and Mikey Smith both advanced from the third row and finished third and fourth respectively while Garrett Bard finished fifth.   Sixth through tenth were AJ Bast, Tyler Mowery, Mason Peter, Zach Curtis, and Lauren Huffman.  Heat races were won by John Smith and Bard.

In the Four Cylinder division Johnathon Stringfellow and Skylar Witchley paced the field for the green flag lap.  By the completion of lap number five, Maddox Smith was out in front leading Scott Englert, Witchley, Sean Wise and Michael Luther.   The leaders began to encounter lapped traffic at the halfway point.  On lap number eight the caution flag waved for Wise.   Following the restart, Smith raced to win over Englert, Sam Creveling, Skylar Witchley and Jeffrey Weaver, who competed in four of the five divisions.   Brent Shirk, Chris Orwig, Johnathon Stringfellow, Kyle Workman and Michael Luther rounded out the top ten.   Heat race winners were Smith and Michael Boring.

Kids Power-wheels races were won by Dodge Laubscher of Lamar and Christian Jensen of Nescopeck

In pre-event ceremonies, the speedway recognized Jim Kennedy as the oldest active driver at the speedway.  Friday was Kennedy’s 86^th birthday.  The speedway presented Kennedy with a plaque and a birthday cake to commemorate the day.  Kennedy shared he is the second oldest active driver in the country and hopes to break that record someday.

Chassis: Chassis must have stock front clip. Must follow CCMS engine set back rule. Strut Cars allowed. Stock configuration rear suspension (Metric 4 link or leaf spring) with 1 shock, 1 spring per wheel. No Coil overs or coil over eliminators, no Panhard bars, pull bars or lift bars. No Quick Change rear ends.
No floating bird cages!
Tires/Wheels: Any 8″ med or hard compound tire , no med 100 or med 200 , and 8″ Steel wheel.

Engine: Any production type cast iron block/head engine. No Aluminum Blocks or Aluminum Heads. No Dry Sump systems. One gauge legal 4412 2bbl ONLY. Holley XP is legal. 4bbl allowed on GM sealed 602 crate motor. RUSH or DIRT sealed Crates must run 2bbl. Hidden Valley, Hummingbird, Thunder Mountain (Pa) Pure Stocks are allowed to run 4bbl if they are following the rest of their home track rules. Gas ONLY!! No Alcohol!!

Transmission: Any transmission allowed, must have working reverse.Berts,Brinns, etc must add 25lbs in front of mid engine mount and 25lbs forward of rear transmission seal.Weight must be securely mounted and have car number displayed. No spoilers,Wings, Extreme Sail Panels or Sideboards allowed. Safety: Fuel cells mandatory. 5 point racing harness mandatory must be 2017 or newer. SFI rated drivers’ suit is mandatory. Full face helmet with shield mandatory!

Mill Hall, PA – Ross Perchak of Hazelton claimed the mid-week special at the Clinton County Speedway on Wednesday night.  The races were scheduled to coincide with the annual Clinton County Fair that was cancelled earlier in the year.  Lock Haven’s Kevin VanAmburg claimed his first victory of the season in Pro Stock Competition.   Cory Brungard of Montoursville won his first career 600 Micro Sprint feature event and Blake Snyder won the Four Cylinder main event.  

Bobby Sanso of Jersey shore led the opening laps of the 270 Micro Sprint main event.   An early race caution slowed the field, with Sanso, Timmy Bitner, Jeffrey Weaver, Perchak and Nick Whitesel running in the top five.  Weaver and Perchak passed Bittner as the two tried to chase down Sanso.   At the race’s midway point, Perchak took the runner up position away from Weaver.  Sanso continued to lead until lap number 10 when Perchak made the winning pass.  A last lap caution allowed Weaver to pass Sanso for the runner up position.   Perchak, who started ninth, claimed the $500 to win event and his 8^th career victory at the speedway over Weaver, Sanso, Troy Whitesel, and Wyatt Houtz.  Timmy Bittner, Dan Wertman Hunter Zimmerman, Kyler Stahl, and Shaun Musser completed the top ten. Heat races were won by Weaver and Houtz.

Kevin VanAmburg started on the outside of the front row alongside Rich Fye of Lock Haven for the start of the 15 lap Pro Stock Feature event.   VanAmburg jumped into the front spot to lead the first eight laps.   The top six drivers were all in contention for the win.  Brandon Moser passed VanAmburg to lead laps nine and ten, with VanAmburg leading the eleventh circuit.   Moser once again passed VanAmburg for the top spot to lead lap number 12, with Noah Jenson AY Schilling and Tommy Dawson running in the top five.   The top two ran side by side for several laps and swapped positions for the lead on the exit of every corner of the speedway. VanAmburg passed Moser once again on lap number 13 and held on with a margin of victory of .49 seconds.  Moser finished second followed by Noah Jenson, Tommy Dawson, and AY Schilling completing the top five.  Sixth through tenth were Rich Fye, Robert Tressler, Arty Stephens, Rooster Peters, and Brad Benton.  Heat races were won by Dawson and Moser.

Corey Brungard of Montoursville started on the front row of the 600 Micro Sprints feature event.  The caution flag waived after completion of the first lap when Trevor Teats spun in turn two.   Brungard brought the field to the green flag for the restart with Sierra Hauck, Jefferey Weaver, Dermot Thompson, and Cody Hauck in the top five.   The caution waived again on lap number nine, when three cars came together.   Brungard held off Sierra Hauck for his first career 600 feature event win.   Cody Hauck finished third, Jeffery Weaver was fourth and Johnny Smith completed the top five.  Sixth through tenth were Tyson Mowery, Jeff Gyuina, Timmy Bittner, Trevor Teats and Derek Swartz.  Heat race winners were Gyuina and J. Smith.

Blake Snyder charged from the second row to lead the first lap of the Four Cylinder feature.   Snyder lead Tyler Watson, Sterling Kepner, Michael Boring and Maddox Smith at the completion of the fifth lap. Kepner moved into the runner up position on lap number eight and made the pass for the lead on lap number ten.  Kepner and Snyder encountered lapped traffic as the white flag waived.  Snyder made the pass for the win on the final lap with Walton and Smith both each advancing forcing Kepner back to the fourth spot and Michal Luther completing the top five.   Sixth through tenth were Chris Orwig, Skylar Witchley, Michael Luther, Zachery Rill, and Stringfellow.  Heat races were won by Smith and Walton.

Mill Hall, PA – Jeffrey Weaver of Lock Haven won his first RaceSaver Sprint Car event in front of his hometown crowd on Friday night at the Clinton County Speedway over Garrett Bard of Wells Tannery.  In Pro Stock competition, Tommy Dawson of Wapwallopen won his first race of the season, Sterling Kepner won the Four Cylinders, while Weaver won the 270 Micro Sprints and Bard won the 600 Micro Sprint Feature.

Dakota Schweikart of Linden led the opening laps of the Gary’s Motor Mart Laurel Highlands Sprint Car Series 25 lap main event. The event’s only caution flag waved on lap number six when Jim Kennedy’s car rolled to a stop on the front stretch.   On the restart Schweikart lead Weaver, Dylan Proctor, Matt Tebbs, and Bard.   On the eighth circuit, Weaver made a pass for the lead.  Weaver pulled away from the field and established nearly a straight away advantage.  Bard, who started ninth moved into third position on lap number ten.  Schweikart and Bard battled for the runner up position as the field began to encounter lapped traffic on lap sixteen.   Once Bard passed Schweikart for the runner up spot, he began to close the gap between he and Weaver.  Bard did not have enough laps remaining as Weaver claimed the victory by 1.6 seconds over Bard, Proctor, Schweikart and Tebbs.  Sixth through tenth were Ken Duke, Fred Arnold, Dale Schweikart, Scott Lutz, and Jared Zionkowski.  Heat race winners were: Reed Thompson, Dale Schweikart and Dakota Schweikart. 

Wayne Shaffer of Mount Pleasant Mills and Corey Long of Selinsgrove brought the field of Pro Stocks to the green flag.  Long led the first lap with Shaffer making a pass for the lead at the completion of lap number two.  Brandon Moser of Millerstown advanced into the runner up position and took the lead from Shaffer on lap number five.  Moser, Noah Jensen, Bradley Benton, and Dawson ran several laps side by side in contention to for the top spot.  Jensen passed Moser on lap number 8 and Dawson took the lead on the very next circuit.  Dawson held off the attempts by Jensen and Moser to claim the victory.  Johnny Bouse of Hughesville raced from the tenth spot to finish fourth followed by AY Schilling.   Sixth through tenth were AJ Stroup, Wayne Shaffer, Marc Bitler, Corey Long and Kevin VanAmburg.  Heat races were won by Moser and Benton. 

John Roberts and Hunter Zimmerman started on the front row the 270 Micro Sprint feature event.  Zimmerman led the opening lap.  Last week’s feature winner Timmy Bittner advanced from the fifth starting position to take the lead at the completion of lap number two.  The red flagged waved on the third lap when Levi Brungard rolled his car on the front stretch.  Bittner led Jeffrey Weaver, Wyatt Rotz, Kyle Stahl, and Mason Peters for the restart.  Bittner and Weaver raced hard and began to encounter lapped traffic in the closing laps of the race.  Weaver made the pass for the win on lap number 13 to claim the victory over Bittner, Peters, Rotz and Bobby Sanso.  Sixth through tenth were Kyler Stahl, Denny Reinheimer, Dan Wertman, Ethan Spotts and Mitchell Holden.  Qualifying races were won by Zimmerman and Peters. 

In the Werner Fuels 600 Micro Sprint Feature event, Jeffrey Weaver led the first three laps.  On lap number four Garret Bard, who started third passed Weaver.  At the completion of lap number five, Bard led Weaver, Cordy Hauck, Tyson Mowery, and Mason Peters.   Bard and Weaver, who had just finished second and first in the Sprint Car feature event, were now competing for the win in the 600s.   At the halfway point of the race Bard began to open up a sizeable lead over Weaver.  Bard cruised to this 17^th career victory at the speedway over Weaver, Mowery Hauck and Peters.  Sixth through tenth were Teats, Sierra Hauck, Travis Keister, Jeff Gyuina, and Timmy Bittner.  Heat race winners were Bard and Mowery.

In the Glenn O Hawbaker 4 Cylinder Division, Jimmy Delozier and Tyler Watson led the field to the green flag.  Watson jumped into the early lead with Maddox Smith, Sterling Kepner, Blake Snyder, and Michael Boring in the top five.  Smith passed Watson for the top spot on the completion of lap number four with the top five all in contention for the win.  With three laps to go, Snyder made a pass for the lead and crossed the finish line over Kepner and Watson.  Following a post-race inspection of the top five finishers, Snyder and Sam Creveling were found to have a rules violation, giving Sterling Kepner the victory over Watson, Smith, Boring and Michael Luther.  Jimmy Delozier, Chris Orwig, Sean Wise, Skyler Witchley and Shawn Shelton completed the top ten.   Heat races were won by Smith and Watson.

The Clinton County Speedway returns to racing action with two races this week.  A mid-week race to coincide with the Clinton County Fair festival will take place on Wednesday, August 5^th featuring the 270s in a five hundred to win feature event.  The Pro Stocks, 600s and Four Cylinders will be part of the four division show with general admission being just five dollars.  Then on Friday, August 7^th the speedway will host the RaceSaver Sprint Cars, Pro Stocks, 270s, 600s and Four Cylinders plus power wheels races for the kids.  Gates will open at 5:15PM and Racing will begin at 7:30PM for each event.  For more information, visit www.clintoncountyspeedway.com or visit the speedway on Facebook

Mill Hall, PA – Matt Cochran of Williamsport won his second career Limited Late Model feature event on Friday night over Jim Yoder.  In Pro Stock action, AJ Stroup claimed his second win of the season, while Timmy Bitner of Beech Creek won the 270 Micro Sprints, Josh Beamer won the 600 Micro Sprints and Tyler Watson won in the Four Cylinders.

Nick Loffredo of Avis and Kevin Probst were the front row starters of the 25 lap Limited Late Model feature event.   Loffredo took the lead at the drop of the green flag, while second row starters of Cochran and Joe Lusk of Jersey Shore battled for the runner up position.   Once Cochran confirmed his place in second, he pressured Loffredo for the lead.  On lap number nine, Cochran made the pass on Loffredo to take the top spot.  Jim Yoder, who started fifth, passed both Loffredo and Lusk on lap number ten to move into the runner up position.   At the midway point of the race, Cochran led Yoder, Lusk, Loffredo and Kevin Probst.   By lap number twenty, the leaders were into lapped traffic.  Cochran passed Jamin Chapman going down the backstretch to try and distance himself from Yoder.  Cochran went to win his first race of the year over Yoder, Probst, Lusk and Bryan Benton.  Sixth through tenth were Ben Whitaker, Ron Buttenfield, Cameron Benton, Denny Fourney and Matt Adams.  Heat races were won by Cochran and Benton.

Brandon Moser and Robert Tressler lead the field of Pro Stocks for the green flag.  Moser took charge of the field with fourth place starter AJ Stroup in second, AY Schilling in third, Timmy Dawson in fourth and Robert Tressler at the completion of lap number five.  Moser had a sizeable lead that was washed away when Brad Benton’s car abruptly stopped on the back stretch and collected Rich Fye in the incident on lap number 7.  On the restart, Stoup made the pass for the lead to claim his second win of the season.   Tommy Dawson passed Moser on lap number 12 to claim the runner up position with Moser, AY Schilling and Jason Smith rounding out the top five.  Sixth through tenth were Noah Jenson, Rich Fye, Kevin VanAmburg, Marc Biter and Rooster Peters.  Qualifiers were won by Moser and Smith. 

Nick Whitesel and Mitchell Holden brought the field of 21 270 Micro Sprints to the green flag.  The red flag came out after the conclusion of lap number one when Matt Dixon’s car rolled over at the exit of turn number two.  Dixon’s car had no major damage and he was able to restart the race.   Following the restart, Troy Whitesel led the second lap before Lock Haven’s Jeffrey Weaver made a pass for the lead.  At the completion of lap number five, Weaver led Whitesel, Timmy Bitner, Troy Whitesel, and Bobby Sanso.  A caution occurred on lap number 7 when four cars tangled in turn number four.  On the restart Weaver and Bitner raced down the front stretch, and Bitner made the pass for the lead as the duo came out of turn number two.  Bitner, a high school student, pulled away from Weaver and was able to record his second career victory at the speedway over Weaver, Troy Whitesel, Nathan Bacon, and Sean McAndrew.  Sixth through tenth were Bobby Sanso, N. Whitesel, Kyler Stahl, Gary Keister and Logan Hammaker.  Heat races were won by Whitesel, Sanso and Stahl. 

Josh Beamer advanced from this second row starting spot to lead the first lap of the 600 Micro Sprint Feature Event.   The caution came out on lap number three when Timmy Biter, stopped after hitting the front stretch wall.  Beamer continued to lead the way, with Cody Hauck, Tyson Mowery, Trevor Teats and Sierra Hauch in the top five.  Mowery moved into the runner up position on lap number 10 but was unable to chase down Beamer who led every lap to claim his first win on the season.  Mowery finished second followed by Teats, Hauck and Jeff Gyuina.  Sierra Hauck, Bob Bogart, Mitchell Holden, Jeffrey Weaver and Eric Leonard completed the top 10.  Heat races were won by Mowery and Weaver.  

Tyler Watson used his front row starting spot to claim the lead in the 4 Cylinder Feature event at the drop of the green flag.  Michael Boring advanced from the fifth spot and tried to reel in Watson.  Blake Snyder battled with Boring and took second at the completion of lap number 4.  Watson led all 15 laps to win his first career race.  Blake Snyder was second, Boring was third, Jimmy Delozier was fourth and Skylar Witchely completed the top give.  Michael Luther, Chris Orwig, Shawn Wise Chelsie Harris, and Maddox Smith completed the top ten.  Heat races were won by Watson and Boring. 

The Clinton County Speedway returns to racing this Friday night for another 5 division racing program. The Laurel Highlands RaceSaver Sprint will be the featured division along with the Pro Stocks, 270 Micro Sprints, 600 Micro Sprints and 4 Cylinders.  Gates will open at 5:15PM and Racing will begin at 7:30PM.  The Speedway will then feature 2 races in once week beginning in August with a special Wednesday night event for the 270s, 600s, Pro Stock and Four-Cylinders.  The special mid-week event typically coincides with the annual Clinton County Fair that was cancelled earlier in the year.  For more information, visit www.clintoncountyspeedway.com or visit the speedway on Facebook

Mill Hall, PA – Andrew Yoder of Middleburg held off his uncle Jim Yoder in lapped traffic to win his second Limited Late Model event on Friday night.   It was the second consecutive win of the season for Yoder at the 3/8^th mile oval, while Brad Benton of Duncansville claimed his second consecutive win the Pro Stock division.  Jeffrey Weaver of Lock Haven had a triumphant night winning the 270 and 600 micro sprint feature events and Luke Hoffner was victorious in the four cylinder division. 

Mike Smith of Renovo and Jim Yoder of Selinsgrove started on the front row of the 25 lap Smith Excavating Limited Late Models feature event.  Smith took the early lead with Jim Yoder, Kevin Probst, Joe Loffredo and Denny Fourney in the top five.   Smith and Jim Yoder battled for top spot, with Smith having a slight advantage as they crossed by the flag stand.  On lap number nine Jim Yoder made the pass for the lead, with Smith, Andrew Yoder, Probst, and Fourney as the top five contenders.  Andrew Yoder moved into second position on lap number 10 and set his sights on his Uncle Jim Yoder.  By the 15^th circuit, the two Yoders battled in lapped traffic.  Andrew made several attempts for the lead but was not able to make the pass until lap number 22.  The event went nonstop, with Andrew Yoder claiming his second consecutive victory by a margin of 2 seconds over Jim Yoder. “It’s great when you can race like that against family, that was fun,” said Yoder in Victory Lane. Kevin Probst finished third, followed by Joe Lusk of Jersey Shore and Smith.  Sixth through tenth were Matt Cochran of Williamsport, Denny Fourney of Lock Haven, Matt Adams, Joe Loffredo and Jakob Piper.  Qualifiers were won by Smith and Adams.

In Pro Stock competition, Tommy Dawson of Wapwallopen and Brad Benton of Duncansville led the field to the green flag.  Dawson was the early race leader, until Benton took over the top honors with Dawson, Noah Jensen of Nescopeck, Rich Fye of Lock Haven and AY Schilling of Linden in the top five.  All top five cars were in contention to win the race, with Jensen pressuring Benton on every lap.  Dawson and Fye swapped positions several times for the third and fourth positions and Lock Haven’s Kevin VanAmburg who started twelfth moved into the top five on lap number twelve.  At the checkered flag it was Benton over Jensen, Dawson, Fye and Schilling. “To win a feature race here against this strong field of Pro Stock drivers is amazing, but to win two in a row is simply unbelievable.  I have lots of wins on this car, but it means a lot to win here,” said Benton.  Brandon Moser finished sixth, with VanAmburg, Rooster Peters, Brad Myers and Wayne Shaffer rounding out the top 10. Heat race winners were Jensen and Schilling. 

The 270 Micro Sprint feature had the red flap come out on the first lap when four cars tangled in turn number four.  Lock Haven’s Jeffrey Weaver quickly moved from his sixth starting spot to take the lead from Dan Wertman by the completion of lap number two.  The events second red flag waived, when Timmy Bitner of Beech Creek flipped his car on lap number three.  Following the restart, Weaver held off early race challenges from Bobby Sanso of Williamsport.  Sean McAndrew passed Sanso for the runner up position on lap number five, as Denny Reinheimer advanced from the thirteenth spot to take fourth position from Dan Wertman.  The field was slowed twice for cautions on lap 6 for a spin by Logan Hammaker and on lap 13 when Mitchell Holden’s top wing mounts broke forcing him to stop of the backstretch.  Weaver claimed the win by a margin of 1.386 seconds over McAndrews, Reinheimer, Ethan Spots and Sanso.  Sixth through tenth were Kyler Stahl, Wertman, Shawn Musser, Hammaker and Hunter Zimmerman.  Heat race winners were Weaver and McAndrews.

Weaver came to victory lane for a second time in one night as he was also victorious in the Werner Fuels 600 Micro Sprint division.  Weaver jumped into the early lead and led every lap to claim the victory.  Trevor Teats ran in the second position for the entire race but was unable to catch Weaver. The event had its only caution flag on the white flap lap when Derek Swartz spun in turn four.  At the checkered flag Weaver posted a slim .600 second margin of victory over Teats, Tyson Mowery, Josh Beamer, and Cody Hauch.  Ethan Spotts, Swartz, and Mitchell Holden completed the field. 

All time leading Late Model feature winner Luke Hoffner strapped into a four-cylinder to have some fun on Friday night.  Hoffner led every lap of the 12 lap main event and admitted that the four cylinders were harder to drive than his late model, but he had a blast doing it.  Hoffner also owns a dune buggy victory to his career win list at Clinton County dating back to the speedway’s inaugural season in 1989.  In the early stages of the race, Hoffner battled with Michael Boring.  Michael Luther, who started on the front row reclaimed the runner up position on lap number four but could not contend with Hoffner.  Hoffner earned the win over Boring, Skyler Witchley, Jimmy Deiozier and Chelsie Harris.  The heat race was also won by Hoffner.

Mill Hall, PA – The Clinton County Speedway opened its 2020 racing season on Friday Night featuring the Laurel Highlands RaceSaver Sprint Cars, presented by Gary’s Motor Mart.  Dale Schweikart of Linden claimed the victory in the 25-lap event in a contested battle with his son, Dakota Schweikart.   Other winners of the night include Garret Bard in the 600 Micro Sprints, Jeffrey Weaver of Lock Haven in the 270 Micro Sprints, Robert Tressler of Lock Haven in the Pro Stocks and Maddox Smith of Renovo in the 4 Cylinder Division. 

Dakota Schweikart and Jared Zionkowski of Wyalusing led the field of 25 sprint cars to the green flag.  After the completion of the first lap, four cars tangle in turn three to bring out the caution.  While under caution, Zionkowski’s car came to stop on the front stretch forcing him to the pits where his crew was able to make a repair and have him rejoin at the rear of the field.  Zionkowski’s misfortune allowed Dale Schweikart to move to the front row for the restart along side his son. 

Dakota Schweikart led his father in a contested battle for the lead, with Dakota running on the low side of the speedway forcing Dale to try to make a pass on the high side.  After several attempts of trying to pass Dakota, Dale made the pass at the completion of lap number eight, with Jeffrey Weaver, Scott Lutz and Garret Bard running in the top five.  By lap number 12, the leaders were beginning to encounter lapped traffic.  Larry McVey of Bordentown, NJ advanced from twelfth starting spot to contest with the top five by the midway point of the race.  The final caution of the event came out on lap number 18, when Dylan Proctor of Lock Haven and Todd Lynn of Hollidaysburg spun in turn number two.

Dale Schweikart was able to hold off the late race challenges by his son to pick up the victory.  “It’s a neat feeling and proud moment to race against my son, but I was faster in turns 3 and 4 and was able to make the pass,” said Dale Schweikart. “It a great night when you can finish one-two.”  Weaver, Lutz and McVay completed the top five.  Jacob Gomola of Seneca charged from the 24^th spot to finish 6^th, Garret Bard, Kruz Kepner, Zionkowski, and Proctor completed the top ten.  Heat races were won by Lynn, Weaver, and Lutz.

In Pro Stock competition, Tommy Dawson and Brad Myers lead the field for the initial start with Myers taking the early lead.  During a caution on lap number two, Myers stopped on the track, giving up the lead to Dawson.   Dawson commanded most of the race, with a heated battle between Robert Tressler, Ay Schilling, Noah Jensen, and Kevin VanAmburg for the top 5.  Tressler made a pass for the lead on lap number twelve and Jensen moving into second place on the final lap.  Tressler picked up the win over Jensen, Dawson, VanAmburg, and Brandon Moser.  Sixth through tenth were AY Schilling, Corey Long, Mark Bitler, Brad Benton, and Brad Myers.  Heat racess were won by Tressler and Schilling

 Lance Spotts and Bobby Sanso of Williamsport led the field of 20 Werner Fuels 600 Micro Sprints to the green flag.  Spotts took the early lead with 3^rd place starter Garret Bard in pursuit.  Bard took the lead on lap number three from Spotts.  At the halfway point of the race, Bard led Spotts with Tyson Mowery, Mason Peters, and Cody Hauck running in the top five.  A late race caution on lap number 12 gave the field one last opportunity to pass Bard.  Bard held on for the final three laps to claim the victory over Spotts, Mowery, Peters, Jeffrey Weaver, Hauck, Jeff Guyrinia, Sierra Hauck, Derek Swartz, and Cory Brungard.  Qualifying Races were won by Spotts and Sanso.

The 270 Micro Sprints saw Sean McAndrew and Kyler Stahl lead the field for the initial green flag.  Fifth place starter Jeffry Weaver took command of the field by the second circuity with McAndrewl, Troy Whitsel, Ethan Spotts and Bobby Sanso running in the top five.   The red flag came out on lap 13, when four cars came together, and one car tipped over on its side.  All drivers were okay.   In the final laps Weaver held off McAndrewl, Whitesel, Sanso and Spotts.  Sixth through tenth were Stahl, Dan Wertman Timmy Bitner, Denny Rineheimer, and Hunter Zimmerman.  Heat races were won by Whitsel and Spotts. 

The Glen O Hawbaker 4 Cylinders made their debut with a new stock rules package.   The division premiered with 9 cars in competition, with several cars planning to be completed in the coming weeks.   Maddox Smith and Tyler Watson set the pace for the start of the feature event. Smith jumped out to the early lead and led every lap of the 12-lap feature event to claim his first career victory.   Sterling Kepner raced from the 6^th spot to finish second, Michael Boring was third, Kennedy Courter finished fourth, and Zachery Rill finished fifth

The Clinton County Speedway returns on Friday, July 3^rd with a 5 division show featuring the Limited Late Models.   The race will be a Limited Late Models – Semi Late Model Challenge event sponored by G.F.Y. Racing Supply.  The top three semi late models will receive a bonus of $100, $50, $25 respetively complements of G.F.Y.
